Stability for Containerships

This course introduces the key principles of safe container vessel loading, combining stability basics with practical planning exercises in a dedicated training program. Learners will review draft limits, stability compliance, ballast distribution, hull stresses, stack weights, and common planning issues such as towers, mixed stowage, and maintenance access. The course focuses on understanding how loading decisions affect vessel safety and how to adjust the plan to meet operational, structural, and stability requirements before departure.
